All Souls Episcopal Church - Mid Beach

As part of Omar’s journey, his faith has always been the light that guides his path. He became the first full-time Parish Administrator at All Souls Episcopal Church in Mid-Beach, where he served for two years.

During his tenure, Omar led a number of impactful and rewarding initiatives. He served as the church liaison to the on-site, highly regarded school Casa dei Bambini and oversaw several renovation projects across the church grounds. He also revitalized the parish kitchen, establishing weekly volunteer teams—often composed of seniors—to prepare high-quality, home-cooked meals served to nearly 100 community members every Sunday after Mass.

In addition, Omar organized a successful weekly food distribution program in collaboration with Food Rescue US, providing fresh groceries, fruits, and vegetables to between 60 and 100 families and individuals in need each week.

Since his departure as Parish Administrator, Omar continues to attend the church as a member, and also regularly donates food from his family operated restaurant to cater for Church Holidays and Special community events.
