In 2022, Omar made a proposal to Commissioner Dominguez office, to improve the entrance of Park View Island. This proposal was picked up and cosponsored by commissioner Bhatt. Commissioner Dominguez office has worked to advance this project and it is now in Capital Improvements, with funding expected in FY26/27.
